The Choice to Love

There comes a time when we all need to choose

The loving words,

The loving way,

The loving development of

Our whole being.

What we do not have a choice to do is

Select what way it will come in.

The person,

The heartfelt emotion

What if it is something

We would run the other way from.

We send Love,

We choose to Love

We invent it even if we cannot muster it.

We give everything to this way of life

Because this way wins always

And forever.

The choice has never been to fight it.

Only to Love the transfiguration

Of it.
