A book that I love and return to the teachings often, is Marsh Hankins’ “Awaken to Ascension: Mastering Oneness and Knowing Yourself as Source.” It’s a feel-good read that guides you to know and understand more about 3-dimensional (3D), 4th (4D), and 5th Dimensional (5D) living.
3D is what we are living in. We are most familiar with this because we are currently experiencing it. It is “Life”- kids, work, politics, aging, etc. We have fear, anxiety, overwhelm, over thinking at this end of the spectrum. When we start moving towards the 4D we experience joy and laughter, we begin to feel right at home with our thoughts, we love our life, and feel hope. We have faith that there is a true place of love and oneness. When you have arrived there you project and know your own light of Source. This place is of Oneness and Love it is the 5D. When life subjects come up that bog you down and zap the energy out of you, my fix is to ask myself what dimensional thinking am I in?
I came home from an anxious first day of work from an extended leave of absence. I was replaying the day over and over I had with my fellow employees. Some employees were happy to see me back; others avoided eye contact and talking with me. You think about poor me, you think about how to get back and show up to those unhappy employees maybe with a snide remark. And let me tell you, you can wind yourself into a hole of anxiety, despair, and egoic thoughts. When we are down in the trench we can decide to get ourselves out of it by making a choice. This choice is to look at the situation in a very different light. The choice is to look at the day with gratefulness. I am returning to my job – check, I chose my health and autonomy – check and check. I am grateful and have faith that I can survive almost anything that comes my way now – big check.
There is a progression of dark and heavy (3D experiences) to a lightning up of my energy that takes place. I moved from fear/separation to gratitude, forgiveness, and love (4D). I chose to look at things in 4D because it makes me feel better and my reality and experience change in short order. You can think of each of these dimensions as a door and its threshold to the reality you live in. By changing your mindset and how you think, you can move from Door #3 to Door #4 which is more wholesome, and on to Door #5 which is home.
