Zodie has loved her journey thus far and has had a transformational path. Her story begins with surviving childhood sexual abuse but the real story to be told is turning that surviving into now thriving.
As an adolescent, themes she saw prevalent were low self-worth, low self-esteem, failed relationships, depression, and anxiety. Around the age of 40, life took on another meaning when she began feeling and opening to spirituality and energy. She experienced walking through a rock and gem store, feeling the vibrations given off, and began questioning and researching spirituality and energy. It was a gateway to discovering the Divine powers of the Universe which she found also resided in her.
Her introspective studies through books, courses, and life experiences led her on a path of self-discovery and openness to listening within. Through journaling, Zodie began listening to Spirit Guide guidance and discovered she was clairaudient (clear hearing). Her embodiment issues came to light when she began taking classes with Jill Leigh at the Energy Healing Institute in 2019. This was a monumental shift for Zodie when in effect she could set her chakras and set her course of being self-responsible and empowered to take ownership over how she participated and was present in her life. Zodie immediately began feeling grounded, embodied, sovereign and present in her life with the skills she was taught and knew she wanted to follow this energy wellness path.
In the summer of 2020, Zodie signed up for The Evolving the Astral Body Practitioner course. She knew that everyone was capable of developing their own skills and wanted to help in this capacity. The journey has been full of tears, accomplishment, self-recognition, and understanding. Zodie went from surviving life and circumstances to thriving. Her dedication to her evolution, embodiment, empowerment, and realization of her role to be of service has led her to open Promoveo Energy and Wellness with her husband Edwin Hogendoorn.
Edwin immigrated to Canada from the Netherlands in 1998 to work in the greenhouse industry as a grower. From the time he was born Edwin had always been curious about energy work. Once in Canada, Edwin took several energy healing and personal development courses and always thought he would like to make it his full-time passion to help others.
Edwin took the first two levels of TFT tapping in Ontario in 2012. He thought it was a safe, easy way to help others. In 2013, Edwin moved his boys out west to Sylvan Lake, Alberta, and met Zodie the following year.
In 2020, Zodie and Edwin began talking about opening Promoveo Energy and Wellness. Edwin re-certified and upgraded into an Advanced Thought Field Therapy Practitioner so that he could begin working with clients and empowering them with skills to help with themes such as anxiety, fears, phobias, traumas, physical and mental issues. Edwin realized his own role to be of service by opening Promoveo Energy and Wellness.
