Are We Listening to Our Bodies?
When you sense that you are incomplete with your woundings in life, it may take an exceptional amount of energy to conjure up the past. You may have forgotten the details or like most of you, you can be taken back to the time, place, smells, sounds, etc. It takes different energies to feel these sensations, likewise it also takes different repertoires of words to name it. What we would like to do is show you where these stuck energies reside in your bodies. The chakras and the aura are amazing repositories for these traumas. It can be in the first chakra that we find these childhood woundings where our needs were not being met. These survival needs of warmth, caring, shelter, security, protection from others were narrowly addressed by guardians can have long standing repercussions that play-out in today’s day and age. It’s hard to think that the ways we were raised has the direct link to our ailments we are experiencing right now. Our emotions, patterns and themes we have been experiencing all of our lives have been signposts to look after ourselves. Are we listening to our bodies?
When we clear energy we look at where the stuck-ness is that creates flow imbalances. In the absence of trauma it can remain an easy fix to rebalance the chakras, but what takes time is the unpackaging of the childhood trauma depending on your openness to explore. Regulation of our bodies is purely an organic mix of spiritual practice, becoming curious about ourselves and asking the why and how questions.
When we regulate our bodies through breathing techniques, meditation and compassion with ourselves, we know already where we need to go. Our body is intuitive – we are naturally born this way. Our critical thinking minds need to be put on pause and used secondary. An intuitive use of our psychic skills is noticing what we are feeling. This felt-sense can be very knowledgeable. It’s our intuitive guidance system expressed through the body.
To do this, get in touch with your Higher Self.
Sit in a quiet setting, take a few clearing breaths.
Ask, “What is this feeling that I am feeling?” Get curious.
What is your gut feeling for an answer.
Open your journal write down the impressions, feelings, colors, memory that bubble up for you.
This connection to yourselves is so imperative if you are willing to ‘Know Thy Self’.
